Taormina, Sicily ❤️

Sitting on this very comfortable chaize longue at the Belmond Hotel, waiting for a cab that will take me back to the airport of Catania, I have an hour or two now to write about my stay.

I’ve been home for only five days and I need to leave already to explore and see new places.

I had planned a six day trip and I’m now on a train on my way to Venice for a night, and the next day I’m flying out to Sicily where I wish to spend four nights in Taormina.

A lovely and sunny month at last

Where has summer gone? I have the impression that it flew by fast, mine was filled with dinners, unending adventures, restaurants, nights together, expensive shopping !! and in short, all the good things for a lady.

Due to family circumstances, my wonderful webmaster was absent for some time. With some delay, this blog is a ‘conclusion’ to my holidays….. I wrote it while still on the plane.

I wish to attach it almost like a farewell, hoping that some of these tales might find in the future a part 2, or even a part 3….

Isn’t it marvelous to recognize normality in this town again? We are at the end of May and despite the rain (we do need to look at the bright side) London has reopened and that’s all that matters.
